The catwalks of London, Paris and New York are the best way to see the hair trends predictions of 2016. We’ve been doing out hair research of recent catwalks and runways to see just what we’ll be wearing in our hair during the warmer seasons of this year.
I love what we found and hope you do too!
Bo-ho, hippy style hair always makes an appearance during the summer. The long, slightly messy locks on the Louis Vuitton catwalk show show us that this style never goes out of fashion. The small plaits running throughout help break up the long straight style. I think this look will be great for my hair when it’s freshly washed and at it’s softest.
I also love the china-doll eyelashes!
Another classic, but also a style I thought I’d never have to wear again after turning 11. However, the pigtails seen on the Miu Miu catwalk really work! This simple yet understated style alongside a plum lip and crown create a spookily glam look. As much as I’d like to – I probably wont be wearing a crown this Spring/Summer ( a girl can dream) but I think the pigtails are a great idea particularly for walks on the beach and picnics in the park.
This is my favourite hair trend finding. This soft, romantic look by Alexander McQueen is simply beautiful. It also reminds of a young Taylor Swift and Gossip Girl’s Serena…you can see it, right? This look is perfect for Spring/Summer, because it’s so versatile. Perfect for warm hazy days spend mooching about in the sun, or dress it up with midi heels.
Last but not least is the Spring/Summer essential! The messy bun. Dolce&Gabbana showed us exactly how we should be accessorising our buns to make them part of our outfit; by using head scarves and head bands to add colour and texture. I love this because it will add a little ‘something’ to every outfit, it is also a stylish way to tie you hair up around the pool….I’ll definitely be finding a headscarf to colour co-ordinate with my bikini!
I love these looks and I cant wait to try them when the sun finally makes an appearance! I’d love to see your favourites or if you’ve tried any of them, tag me on instagram to show me! @secrethairextensions.couk
